In January 2013, Surface magazine was in bad shape. In tandem with a vigorous injection of investment and together with the new CEO, we realized that a full rebrand would require an almost full team change. Over the course of a year, we built a new team and we created a serious, profitable brand. It was the year in which Surface was resurrected as the Design magazine for Designers.
The magazine not only stopped losing money, but within a year saw an increase of overall sales by 113%, bringing Surface back to profitability, and ensuring the business is prepared for the future. All new employees welcomed the results with great personal satisfaction because they were involved in the process from the start. The magazine is now ready for the building a bold next phase.

IWC SCHAFHAUSEN NY FLAGSHIP LAUNCH - 2012
In Apr, 2012, IWC opened its largest flagship in the world. The aim was clear: to give the luxury watch brand's worldwide customers a front row seat to the opening, behind the scenes access the celebrities and activities during the event, and to create compelling "hooks" to ensure sales and customer relations started immediately.
Coincidentally, legendary fighter Muhammad Ali was about to have a major birthday. In honor of this great occasion- IWC created a special edition watch, and a full scale content platform against it online, and for an event launch that would live far beyond opening night and continue to drive traffic for 30 days. To this end, I built a full fledged content program leading up to our opening on April 25, 2012, and ending one month after the opening. We summoned the photographer who saw it all in the glory years - Howard Bingham. All content created surrounding his work, including a video, and an exclusive exhibition of his work for the NYC flagship. View the video HERE.
We ended up even creating a second program together - called GLOBETROTTER - which drove another major spike two months later. This was an online and event content platform - which was so successful, it was duplicated with the later Shanghai and Rome openings.
The IWC NY Flagship is considered the most successful in the company's history. To this day, the boutique is a leader in sales worldwide. All employees welcomed the results with great personal satisfaction because they were involved in the process.
DIGITAL STRATEGY SERGE NORMANT - 2011

SergeNormant is a premium haircare brand, created by the famed namesake stylist to the stars - SergeNormant. Following the product launch, we briefly joined the team to instate structural rigor and strategy to the online activity of the brand. From creating the missions statement, to assigning year long goals and content strategy around strategic partnerships, an overarching plan was put in place. Additionally, we reviewed the site, oversaw its optimization, created all social media channels, including the blog, activated bloggers in unison with the PR team, ran the first media buys on Facebook and Google, created the e-newsletter template and launched email marketing.
DIGITAL DEVELOPMENT CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN - 2011 to 2013
When Susannah joined Christian Louboutin in 2011 she joined in a newly created role with the task of building the popularity and awareness of the Christian Louboutin brand within the online space. This was to be undertaken by leading and developing the company's first worldwide online PR strategy while educating and guiding the global PR teams into a greater understanding of the complexities of the digital market. During her time at the company the brand's online popularity sky rocketed. Global online press coverage consistently increased by 100% season upon season with marked growth in key regions. The social media following grew from under a million followers to over 6 million through organic growth alone, placing Christian Louboutin as the owner of one of the most successful Instagram profiles in the fashion industry. The successful launch of new social platforms both for the western and Chinese markets allowed the brand to communicate with it's customers around the world across 8 platforms. Christian Louboutin has now established itself as one of the leading voices in luxury fashion within the online space.

AATC is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of AIDS orphans in impoverished nations. The organization believes in a world where children living in extreme adversity have their lives transformed into a bright future. They deserve happiness, hope and respect.
After the success of the organization’s haute couture icon bears which were auctioned at the New York Other Ball, and raised substantial funds for AATC, the organization geared up for a new endeavor – launching The Other Gift Shop
in collaboration with Farfetch - the online luxury fashion marketplace. The Other Gift Shop will raise money for the AATC cause using luxury fashion as the medium this Christmas, and all sales will be donated to AATC.
For the creation of the gift shop, we joined to solicit the mega talented designers of the world for the donation of exclusive products.
While the shop has not yet launched, this is expected to be a knock-out success. We have amazing designers on board. Watch this space for more!
Next up, in 2015, we have also created a new fundraising platform for AATC called THE OTHER AUCTION. Partnering with Paddle 8, AATC will present a series of "DUETS" - contemporary art pieces co-created by the world's biggest rock starts, and the world's biggest art stars. The auction and fund-raiser benefit will take place in NYC in May 2015.
